Forensic Landscapes was selected to participate in audiovisual program of the SIEF 2021 „Breaking the Rules: Power, Participation, Transgression“, Helsinki 19-24 June 2021 (link to program). In that context, Anne participated in this most inspiring panel:
The webdocumentary „Forensic Landscapes“ directed by Anne Huffschmid and launched in February 2020 in Mexico City was awarded as best webdocumentary at the FINNOF Festival of New Nonfiction Narratives (http://finnof.org/en) in Argentina (April 2020) and participates in the official selecion of the IFDA Filmfestifal in Amsterdam that starts at 16th of November (link to festival).

El short documentary „Dato sensible“ (Sensitive Data, 17 min, 2020) – as outcome of the CALAS-fellowship at Guadalajara – participates in the official selection of international festivals such as Shorts Mexico (09/2021), El Cine suma paz (Bogotá/Col., 09/2021, honorable mention), GIFF (Guanajuato/Mex. 09/2021, best mexican short documentary), dokumentART (Neubrandenburg, nov 2021) as well as FESAALP (La Plata/Arg., 11/12.2021).
Von November 2019 bis Juni 2020 war Anne Huffschmid Research Fellow der Förderinitiative CALAS (Universität Bielefeld, CALAS -Center Guadalajara, Mexiko). Ihre transdisziplinär angelegte Feldsondierung „Paisajes de la transición“ untersuchte mit audiovisuellen Mitteln die Transformation von Gewalt- in Erinnerungslandschaften in Mexiko. Dabei kooperierte sie mit dem visuellen Anthropologen und Filmemacher Alfonso Díaz Tovar. Daraus entstand der Dokumentarkurzfilm Dato sensible (16 min., Trailer), der am 12. Januar 2021 in einer CALAS-lecture erstmals präsentiert wurde, sowie der Bild/Text-Essay Paisajes en transición (in spanischer Sprache, siehe unten).
